Time to get our Banksy on! Let’s map out some stenciled portraits. Friends of the Summit County Library is sponsoring a monthly adult art class at the Kimball Junction Branch (Room 133) every second Tuesday of the month from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Various artistic ideas will be explored in each class. All supplies will be provided. *Class size is limited to 16 participants, so registration is required. Bring your friends and neighbors for a fun evening of socializing and creativity.

Emerging Issues is an adult discussion program that includes pre-readings, viewing a video together in class then breaking into small discussion groups. This month the topic is Neuroscience -- Using New Tools to Uncover Astonishing Possibilities. From brain-computer interfaces to mental-health breakthroughs, new science is reshaping human potential. Hosted by Bob Shallenberg. Space is limited and registration is required.

We're hard at work preparing our new library space and are currently planning for a mid-September opening. While we're making great progress, move timelines can shift as we work to get everything ready for our community.
