The Friends of the Summit County Library are holding their annual Used Book Sale. The members-only sale (renew/join for $10) is Thursday, June 5 from 4-7 pm. Friday-Saturday hours are 10-6 for all.

Emerging Issues is an adult discussion program that includes pre-readings, viewing a video together in class then breaking into small discussion groups. The topic for June will be The New Old Age: How the Elder Years for Those 60 and Up Will Be Different Than Those Years For Their Parents — Reasons for Optimism and Concern.

All Summit County Library branches will be closed on Thursday, June 19 for Juneteenth. Regular hours will resume on Friday, June 20.

Summit County Library & Park City Library present One Book One Community 2025 - Fire Weather by John Vaillant. John Vaillant will speak to the community on Tuesday, July 29th at 7 pm in the Jim Santy Auditorium at the Park City Library (1255 Park Ave., Park City, UT 84060). There will be a book signing after the presentation with books available to purchase provided by Dolly's Bookstore. More info
