JANUARY EVENTS AT THE LIBRARY

Pippi, our resident Reading Education Assistance Dog (R.E.A.D.), is here to help kids with their reading. Reading with a dog has been shown to improve children's fluency and build reading confidence. Please fill out this form to set up a 20-minute reading appointment. Her hours are Monday-Friday from 3-5 pm. She'll come to your branch.

Ages 12-18

Puzzle fast, sip cocoa, repeat. Join us for a jigsaw puzzle race and a hot cocoa bar—winter fun just for teens.

Mondays, February 2 - April 6 | Ages 18+

Great Decisions is America's largest discussion program on world affairs. This 9-week course, created by the Foreign Policy Association involves reading the Great Decisions Briefing Book on your own (approx. 15 pages a week), watching a 30 minute documentary together, then discussing what we have learned. Registration is required. Class size is limited, first come first served. All classes will be held in the Auditorium of the Kimball Junction Branch Library. Registration will open at 10 AM on Tuesday, January 6. Please call Murph at 435-336-3069 if you need help with registering.

Monday, January 19

All Summit County Library branches will be closed on Monday, January 19 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, January 20.
